The Story of One Purchase: an Ecoteplo 400 Ceramic Heater
Today we want to share a review from our customer Natalia L., who took a very thoughtful and well-reasoned approach to choosing a heater. So how did she choose her heating?

Here is her story, in her own words:
"I want to start my story with what caused my extensive search in the first place. My family went through seven circles of hell to disconnect from central heating. The next question was what to replace it with. I researched a large amount of information to choose the most optimal option that would help maintain the required temperature in the house while saving on heating costs. I want to share my findings with you. I hope it will be useful!
Let's start with the first option:
Electric heaters
Today they are incredibly popular, as gas prices rise every year. People are constantly looking for a decent alternative that heats well while using little electricity. An infrared heater is used both as primary and additional heating. By the way, they can also be used to heat open and semi-open areas. This option was quite interesting for us, so we looked more closely at how it works. It's somewhat similar to how sunlight warms things. After plugging the device in, current flows to the heating element, which then radiates heat within its range. Infrared heaters come in short-wave, medium-wave, and long-wave types.
My husband wanted to buy a ceramic heater with a thermostat. It's worth noting that such a device is considered quite cost-effective. Isn't it convenient when the device regulates the temperature itself and doesn't run needlessly once the house has already reached the required temperature? Nowadays there is a fairly wide selection of models with a thermostat on the Ukrainian market. But not all of them work as they should. We searched for a suitable option for a long time and eventually found one. Modern electric panels are quite economical and energy-efficient. Such devices not only heat a room but also have a beneficial effect on people. Imagine: a heating panel that not only doesn't dry out the air but actually has a beneficial effect on your health. They are manufactured both in Ukraine and abroad and meet all technical regulation requirements. With them, you can heat a room effectively and inexpensively, taking care of yourself and your family.
We liked electric heaters right away, but it was quite difficult to review all the possible options to choose the best one. However, since this issue was quite important to us, we had to go through a large amount of information.
Ceramic heater
An electric radiator that can last a long time and significantly simplify life, if you don't make a mistake in your choice. This device is based on revolutionary technology. One advantage, for example, is that a ceramic heater doesn't dry out the air at all. At the same time, it provides warmth in the room. The operating principle of such devices is quite economical. This point was especially important to us. The vast majority of such devices have special timers or thermostats. You can also find models with remote controls that help coordinate operation. They work on the principle of infrared radiation or convection. Depending on the type of room or design, a ceramic heater can be: wall-mounted, floor-standing, or tabletop. Personally, for our family the best option was a wall-mounted ceramic heater, since our rooms are quite small and we didn't want additional devices taking up space.
Reviews of ceramic heaters with a thermostat: before deciding on a purchase, we read a lot of reviews. In fact, we even corresponded with people who had bought the models we were planning to buy. I want to say this method was quite effective, because it helped clarify issues where we had difficulties. Regarding some of the models we were considering, we received quite negative reviews, and that saved us from making a mistake. And the search continued… It might seem like there's not much to consider so carefully - they're just heaters. But that's actually not true.
In my opinion, it's much better to approach the problem thoroughly once. Namely: find a quality device that will produce heat, won't dry out the air, and will use electricity economically. You have to agree that the market today is quite competitive. There are many device options, for any budget, for any design, and for various needs. However, it's hard not to agree that ceramic radiators are the best combination of price and quality on the alternative heating market. They are practical, since they combine several heating principles. And they consume much less kW of energy than their competitors.
You can buy an electric convector, which works on the principle of air convection in a room. Cold air enters the device and comes out warm. With this technology, not only the air but also objects in the room are heated. For example, an oil heater only heats the air, while objects in the room remain cold. Still, an electric radiator has significant advantages among other models, and it's very important that out of all possible options, you choose the best one. Electric convector price: of course, the price of the device plays no small role. For example, our budget couldn't afford a very expensive model, so this aspect was quite important.
In summary, I want to note that we did find a device that fully satisfied our family in every respect. This is the Ecoteplo bio-convector. It is economical, doesn't dry out the air at all, provides quality warmth that is comfortable for children, and can independently control the home heating system, maintaining the required temperature. This is thanks to its built-in thermostat, which works absolutely precisely and switches off once the required temperature is reached. There are also nice design options. We chose the perfect one for our interior. By the way, its price is also reasonable. This heating was recommended to us by friends, we checked the reviews, and then saw for ourselves that it's an excellent option for primary heating."
I hope this customer review is useful to you!
How much does it cost to heat a room up to 10 m2?
Models in this category have a power from 350 W (Ecoteplo Air 350) to 500 W (ECO 500) - enough for a room up to 10 m2.
Consumption calculation: power in kW x hours of operation = kWh. For a 400 W model operating 10 hours per day, this is about 4 kWh. The actual figure is usually lower - the built-in thermostat switches off heating once the room reaches the set temperature, and the heater then only maintains it.
